That the Name of Jesus Be Glorified

Week 2- day 7

Take this day to review your week. 

'Act.'

What has He laid upon your heart to do? Review the ideas, notes, scriptures- what is there from this week that you need to grab hold of? 

Is there something tangible that needs to be done? 

A note to be written?

A phone call made? 

A belief that you need to solidify, a truth that you need to know that you KNOW to be true (about God or His Word/truth or about yourself)? Ask Him.

And use these verses to pray over yourself and those on your prayer list today.

2 Thess. 1:11-12 Amplified Bible

"..we pray for you always,

-that our God will count (make) you worthy of your calling

-and with His power fulfill every desire for goodness

-and complete your every work of faith

(faith which is that leaning of the 

      whole human personality on God 

 in absolute trust and 

confidence in His power, 

                             wisdom, 

                             and goodness)"...

That kind of faith builds some strong ramparts of protection, for action!

For what ultimate purpose?…

...."so that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in you [by what you do], and you in Him, according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” v.12

"Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts [make them steadfast and keep them unswerving] in every good work and word." 2 Thess. 2:16,17
